Roof Replacement
There's a point where you're throwing good money at an old roof. When you reach it, we'll manage the whole replacement for you.

What to look for
Signs you need this work done
A re-roof is the biggest job we do and the one people put off longest, usually because they don't know what's involved. We'll walk you through the material options, what happens to your house while the roof is off, and what it costs, all before you commit to anything. Most homes stay liveable throughout.
Leaks that keep appearing somewhere new
One leak is a repair. Leaks turning up in different spots each storm usually mean the roof covering has reached the end of its life.
A sagging or uneven roofline
This points to the structure rather than the covering, and needs assessing before anyone does anything else to the roof.
Widespread cracked or brittle tiles and sheeting
When a large share of the roof is failing at once, replacing it costs less than repairing it piece by piece over the next few years.
An extension, renovation or a change of roof type
New rooflines need to tie into the existing one properly. It's often the right moment to replace the lot and get a consistent result.

Why Renovaroof
Why people go with us
We find the cause, not just the wet patch
A leak rarely starts where it shows up inside. We track it back to the flashing, valley or cracked tile that's actually letting water in, so the repair holds.
You'll get the honest option, including 'do nothing yet'
If your roof has years left in it, we'll say so. We'd rather quote you for a repair now and a restoration in five years than sell you a re-roof you don't need.
Itemised quotes, no moving numbers
You'll see what's included before we start. If we find something unexpected up there, we stop and talk to you about it rather than adding it to the invoice.
The same crew from quote to clean-up
The person who inspects your roof is across the job when the work happens. Nothing gets lost handing your job between a salesperson and a subbie.

Common questions
Roof Replacement questions
The usual signs are recurring leaks in different places, widespread cracked or brittle roofing, sagging in the roofline, or a roof that's simply reached the end of its expected life. A proper inspection is the only way to be sure, and we'll give you an honest answer either way.
It depends on the size and complexity of the roof, the material and the weather. We'll give you a programme of works with your quote so you know roughly which days we'll be on site and what's happening each day.
Almost never. The work happens from outside and we only ever open up as much as we can close in again the same day. It is noisy though, so it's worth planning around if you work from home.
Terracotta and concrete tiles, and steel sheeting in the usual profiles and colour ranges. Tell us what you're after, or ask us to recommend something suited to your home, the WA coastal climate and your budget. We'll talk you through the trade-offs rather than just quoting one option.
A like-for-like replacement usually doesn't, but changing the roof profile, pitch or material can, and heritage listings or estate covenants add their own rules. We'll flag anything we think you should check with your council before you commit.
